Crazy controller lag? (Xbox SeriesX)

Question

This is driving me nuts. When playing Chel I'll be skating and I just lose control of my skater and I just glide away. It's as if my controller disconnects but it doesn't.

I've used multiple controllers, not only does it always happen but they all work fine in any other game I play. It's also very inconsistent. Some games will be fine others it'll happen multiple times a period. I had the stupid multiple controller thing happen to me in 23 but it doesn't look like that's what is happening.

Anybody run into this or have a fix?

Thanks for reaching out. Which controllers are you using? Are they official ones or 3rd party? Are they wired or wireless? Also, is your online connection wired or wireless?

First party wireless Xbox controller. Internet hardwired.

Is the firmware for the controller up to date? You can check this under Devices &amp; connections &gt; Controllers &amp; headsets. Click on the icon with the 3 buttons and see if an update is available.
