Goalies constantly facing the puck leading to goals

Not sure if this topic has ever been brought up, but it's one that I've been thinking about since I first discovered it.
So, in the NHL games, the goalie is programmed to constantly face the puck. This is generally a good thing as it gives you the best chance to save a shot. However, that's not always the case.
In the clip I posted, you see me following the puck carrier, the puck carrier shoots, I make a blocker save, the puck bounces around and finally goes in the net. But, pay attention to my goalies movement after the initial save. After making the initial save, the puck bounces towards my goalie and the net, and because the goalies are programmed to always face the puck, my goalie rotates his body towards the puck, thus revealing part of the net and letting in a goal that he would have otherwise likely saved if he hadn't rotated.
This isn't realistic to how a real life goalie would move and I find this bit of programming leads to many frustrating goals for a position that's already very frustrating to begin with.
I realize changing this kind of programming would likely not happen in the current dev cycle, but I think it's an issue the team at EA should definitely look into.
