Hello again
First of all I would like to say Thx for tipping me off to this format and next of all I would very much APPRECIATE feedback on what you all think of my ideas. Im not implying that you owe it to me or that you have to BUT merely that I would very much appreciate it cause its always nice to gauge what you all think.
I have been playing this since 1993 off and on, admittedly,........but nonetheless I am not a Johnny Come lately either.
I have seen this game grow and have appreciated the many innovations to it through the years.
My ideas are STRICTLY Franchise(Offline) and Creation and Overall gameplay and presentation.
If I may add,I really think this title has spread itself to thin......(Too many modes within the title!)
Alot of the ideas that you have implemented through the years I had thought would be cool if you did it and low and behold you did it!
When you all first came out with Create a Player that was what REALLY did it for me!
You have expanded on that alot since those days back in 95-96 and I thank you.
I always wished that i could see my team and how they would go on after the initial season and you came out with Franchise which was another HUGE improvement!
I thought it would be great to be able to have my very own team and you guys came out with Create a Team! AWESOME!
Then Create your own Uni. came out ,........and well,..... all these things were huge for me and a whole ALOT of other players!
....and we all REALLY appreciate it,especially me!!!
My ideas could be summed up in 3 ways.....MORE,NUANCES and REALITY
So,the first thing I want to say is that in my experiences and also my opinion and that is that I know one thing players like and that is REALITY!
When playing a 10-25 year Franchise mode you obviously see so many of the same Animations and even Audio Commentary which kind of affects the REALITY factor.
So I would like to encourage WAYYYYY more animations both Micro and Macro
YEAH!........ Believe it or not that definitely enhances the game! The 24 title I noticed added a small little animation that may be miniscule but I still like it and appreciate it ,......and that is after a player comes very close to scoring a goal but is denied by the goalie they REACT by putting their head back on their stick which is on their shoulder!
What I would like to suggest Is Just WAYYYY more of it.
I would like to see the players interact with each other on the bench,interact with the crowd.....But not just simply 3-4 animations.
For example when one goes to the box there is about roughly 5-7 different animations?......I would like to see more
Making someone spit on the ice......Making the players actually talk to each other.......Emotions in their faces.........The Goalies reactions after being scored upon always seem to be them smashing their stick on the either post,which obviously they do a decent amount BUT they also sometimes simply look up into the ceiling and/or lift up their helmet and then they also very frequently drink from their water bottle. These are all simply SOME suggestions of what could be soooo many more!
It would look really authentic to show the players coming out of the tunnel and skate onto the ice with many nuances each time(Animations)
I am pleasantly surprised to see the on ice graphics(More would be nice)
I would like to see even more Logos and if I may suggest that logos should be categorized by Primary,then Secondary or Tertiary
I would also like to suggest that some of the logos should be dropped(A Hamburger?,A Pizza Slice?,A Pineapple?,A Traffic Cone?......Some are just really corny with all due respect)
I would like to see Logos like a Piranha,Tornado,Cobra,A Gator and/or Croc.....just a few ideas
More Uniform Blue prints of jerseys BUT I would like to see Blue print jersey ideas of NON NHL or AHL teams,.....Fresh ideas,Like for example all the ideas that the Seattle Kraken had to choose from but discarded in favor of their final choice.
More Pants
More Stadiums to choose from than simply the 10 originals
More Mascots
More Scoreboards
When Creating a Player I would like to choose from more than just the current cities.
For example if I want my player to come from Fon Du Lac,Wisconsin or Elkhart,Indiana(Merely examples)
More Helmets
More Shield shapes
More Colors/Hues......Thank you for adding the Mirror effect
....You obviously have grey(Gray) for a color BUT how about Jet BLACK!
More skates
Those colorful stick wraps that you have 22-23 of(Ninja Stars,Invaders,Sticks Up)would be nice to have many more.
When Creating Players I would like to have the option to place them in the entry draft like 2 more years out.....(Right now You only have the option to place them in the current draft by their age and 4 more drafts and thats it)
More X-Factors would be nice
I would also like to see the faces that you have to choose from in Create a Player expanded from the current 217?
I would like the faces to be more discernible defined and categorized by ethnic origin(European,African,Asian,Native,etc.)
More Hairstyles than just 73
More Facial Hair styles and especially the thickness.....currently you have Clean shaven then 4 more levels BUT I would like to see another level plus different ideas like Handlebar mustache,Soul Patch,Fine edging
Even different hair textures cause obviously not all hair types and beards are the same
When it comes to Player attributes I believe you should add.....Slap shot QUICKNESS and Wrist shot QUICKNESS,How about Flexibility,How about Leadership???

Ring Ceremony at teams first home game following prior years Stanley cup win
Each of my players personal achievements and firsts
-First Point
-First Goal
-First Assist
-First Hat trick
-Most points in one game
-How many Hat Tricks they have
-Most Goals in a game
-Awards won
etc.,etc.
The One idea I have, has got to do with Player development which will help further discern the differences in how they react and etc.
Its a PERSONALITY GENERATOR which will be a great innovation and enhance the Created Player experience
(The mechanics of it would be something to figure it out BUT I believe there would be like 7 personality types)
Then to further discern between the players there would also be what I call a MOOD METER which would reflect the players in game experience and attitude
I would also like to see You all TOTALLY overhaul the Fighting which has become stale,and 1 dimensional and so predictable!!
The conversation system needs VASTLY expanded dialogue!!!
There are so many more ideas that I have BUT that is just the start and some are very typical ideas and others I believe are unique and original.
This game has so much more potential and I want to have a reason to start buying it again.
As I mentioned I would VERYYYY much appreciate FEEDBACK from you all on what your thoughts are.
