NHL 24 Presentation discussion

I think that the some of the presentation stuff coming in will be wonderful to hear with the crowd and the boards looking animated like television but all that won’t matter without full presentation! I miss the full pre game Intro and replays of amazing saves and this game is going to have some insane ones 

Instead, it’s been a lack of replays, aging commentary, and just a lack of “juice” that’s been more felt since the split from NBC. I don’t think this year feels like a wholesale change, but the new goal presentation is much more cinematic, and we are finally getting some more replays of things like big hits and so on during stoppages in the action. The commentary and TV-style elements of flare still have a ways to go, but much like the gameplay, this feels like the NHL team waking from its slumber and thinking long and hard again about how to best improve what’s here year over year.

@NicCrosby87 I saw that too and I was happy to see that. But the other games let you switch between condensed and full presentation and it’s ridiculous how much we have to fight to get something like that back so both parties are happy

@mr-hockey29 oh believe me I am trying my best and I have been doing the same on insta and Twitter with the rest of the world who wants it’s back to! Lets just hope it works because it is a vital feature of realistic hockey which is something that nhl 24 is apparently going to be all about

We always appreciate constructive feedback. Nagging us is going to be far less affective. Just something to keep in mind.

We could easy do another 100 page thread again ablut it but it is not worth it anymore to beg and ask for the presentation we all hockey fans want so bad in the game.I am probably the biggest presentation nerd around but i think it is not the plan the EA NHL developpment team have for the game going forward so better to accept the fact that we probably never again going to have it in the game.

Wouldn’t even be surprised if EA decided to pull the plug on OFFLINE… They can turn this game into a "fortnite" hockey game if they want. Clown suits, giant heads, Green fluorescent skates and gloves. Why not ? This is the direction of every game out there nowadays. No ? Oh, wait… 🤔
