Re: NHL24 disconnecting from server

We can go through some troubleshooting. What steps have you performed so far?

Also, while high speed is great, it doesn't guarantee you won't disconnect. It's more about stability. How stable your connection is depends on a ton of different variables. Your equipment, the traffic on your connection and in your area, your ISP, etc.

    @EA_Aljo The game is basically unplayable. I regret purchasing it. If I can't even play online

    Can you list them out so we don't repeat them? Just a heads up, I'm heading out in about an hour and won't be back until the 17th. You're always welcome to contact an advisor by opening a case here so they can go through some connection troubleshooting with you.

    @EA_Aljo I followed all the things you guys recommended...I check my internet...I'm hardwired...what else do you want? I'm available to live chat

    Follow these steps:

    1. Go to help.ea.com
    2. Choose NHL 24 as your game
    3. Hut the See all topics button
    4. Choose Technical Support on the left
    5. Select I need help with my connection

    Follow the steps here. If you still can't open a case, try everything suggested in these 2 articles -

    You can also try alternate DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

    If your router supports QoS (Quality of Service), make sure it's enabled and prioritize your PlayStation.

    On your router, make sure UPnP is enabled. Also, check to see if there's a firmware update available.

    You also can contact your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues.

    It would also be good to make sure you're using a at least a Cat6 ethernet cable and be sure to check it for any damage.

    That's all I can think of at the moment. We're not aware of any issues with our servers and we aren't receiving many reports of disconnecting. Should anything be noticed, we'll make an announcement.

    @EA_Aljo I only have issues with EA Sports Servers. I don't issues with MLB The Show or with Fortnite or with 2k sports games
