Ever since they decided to nerf AI goalies in NHL 24 at the beginning of this year to promote more human goalie play, the AI goalies have been inconsistent and downright atrocious. That’s seemed to have carried over to 25 as well, and until they address that again, they’ll continue to be awful. It’s a shame, really, as I thought they were finally in a decent place just prior to that point.
They were fine during early access, most of our games were decided by a goal, rarely more. We were going to OT multiple times a night too. Then the game had it's retail launch and they reverted it all back unfortunately.
