Whats the point of having icon passes if they never go to the button i click, its so useless if i gotta aim my passes, the point of icon passes is so i don’t have to aim, i should be able to click “R2” and “O” and it should go to my player not to my goalie, i go on a 2 on 0 make a pass and it bounces behind the net off the boards like c’mon EA.
They work though (only exception is that in WOC they get mixed right after teammate get out of penalty till next whistle). I believe the problem is that you said "click R2", you should hold R2 until you press icon. Now you most likely click it before it register the icon.

You're probably hitting the wrong button.
I have never had a problem with Icon Passing in HUT and WoC before they ruined it I was loving that too. It was always in the direction of the person that was the target. Works extra great for breakouts and plays behind the goal line.

What is your Online Pass assist set to under your Controller settings? the default is 100
