I play NHL 25 on an Xbox Series X and I feel some features are getting worse from previous versions on previous gen consoles. Also I swear the suggestions don't even get mentioned because the presentation hasn't changed in years.
My NHL 26 Wishlist:
- Better commentary (more commentators other than James Cybulski)
- Referee needs a voice (like a Wes McAulay type) announcing penalties and video reviews
- Used to be able to save 12 seasons in previous generation consoles (only FIVE on Xbox Series X)
- Create your own Memorial Cup tournament (used to exist way back in NHL 11 or 12)
- Some junior hockey arenas have different size ice surfaces (not sure if smaller surfaces would be possible)
- Throwback arenas (with quirks that can affect puck movements) like Chicago Stadium, Maple Leaf Gardens, The Aud in Buffalo, Montreal Forum, etc.
- Add an NCAA Hockey mode with Frozen Four
There are probably others but that's what I can think of at this time
