ABILITY TO ADJUST COACH STRATEGIES IN FRANCHISE.
seriously, wtf? Every competent coach on earth will adjust to the talent at hand. Can you imagine a coach drafting McDavid and saying “nah, I still believe my top line should play dump and chase” (looking at you Torts)?
give a penalty to their efficiency or effectiveness if you break away from their preferred scheme and let them earn experience in it. You already do this exact thing in other games like FIFA. I can’t tell you how many times the best couple draft picks (by a mile) or good coaches I’ve had to pass on or misfit because of this locked mechanic
