Pre-Ordered NHL 25 for Xbox

Hi, I am not sure if I am in the right place or not but I am hoping that someone could help me or direct me to the right place.  I pre-ordered NHL 25 for my son for Xbox and we picked the game up today.  On the bottom of my receipt the sales person told us that there was a special code because we pre-ordered.  I went under his xbox to redeem the code and the code isn't working- just says to try again later.  I am not tech savy and I am not sure if I am doing it right so if anyone could provide me with any guidance or some things to try to get the code to work it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    I don't know why they would tell you to go to Ubisoft. They don't have anything to do with NHL 25. As far as this issue goes, you'll need to contact Gamestop again. They are responsible for getting you a valid code.

    I'm having the exact same issue with the exact same error messages, except I got my copy through Walmart. Did you ever happen to get this resolved? I spoke to EA customer support for 1½ hours only for the support person to say "There's nothing we can do" and then end the chat on me.

    I am having the same issue with my pre-order code, I dealt with Walmart (where I preordered) customer service and they supplied me with a 2nd code that gives the error messages.
