I would like to know if it would be possible to have the nhl 94 controls returned in nhl 25? I bought the game last year and was never able to get used to it even with the hybrid controls. It's not true that hybrid controls are the same. If we are able to go to the moon why can't you bring back the nhl 94 controls?? there is a petition circulating and several people are like me and ask for the return of the nhl 94 controls will you bring them back yes or no??

My son won't play 24, and now 25, as he preferred the simplified controls. It was easier for his smaller hands, and was simplified, the new controls he can't stand so while I move up, he refuses to play after the switch. It really is not difficult to keep the old controls as an option. Removing them completely and ignoring the many requests to make multiple options, is simply arrogance.

I don't understand, we're explaining to you what we don't like about the games, just like I want the NHL 94 controls to return, but you don't listen to us. I miss the other company that made a hockey game so you aren't even able to listen to your customers who buy the games. you are only asked to bring back the nhl 94 controls and you don't want to. I play with NHL 23 since it still has 94 controls. There is a petition on the internet for the return of the NHL 94 controls and several people have signed the petition but it seems that it does not bother you to know that many no longer want to know anything about NHL 24 and NHL 25 because of your refusal to bring back the NHL 94 controls. I would be in your place and would think about it again because it is potential customers who can buy your games. me time and as long as the nhl 94 controls don't come back your nhl games it's over for me. I think that in 2024 almost 2025 a company should listen a little to these customers....

I drive a Ford you drive a Chevy why do you a car is a car so why not drive a Ford oh gee it is because you prefer Chevy over Ford but they keep both styles don't they but my point many like to have as many options of game play like the control's you have not given one true reason to remove them other then you deciding what's best for us. Remember like EA sports always said if it is in the game it is in the game well NHL 94 controls were in the game but now they are gone not because they don't work but because you like to give and take thanks again for saving me now two years in a row $70.00 now that is not going to be in the game but in my pocket.

No they are not the same because if they were then both options would have never been in the game these years. It is nice to have the trigger button to speed up or three buttons to shoot & pass back in the day like the Genesis you had 3 buttons plain and simple but the problem with todays games is you have to press this push this forward tap that to do one thing let the die hard gamers have the option that works for them but for those who like it plain and simple don't take it away and make us pay for no reason at all. So you ask what is the difference according to you nothing so then take the hybrid option away and put back the NHL 94 controls the door swings both ways.

NHL 25 did have those controls , they’re just called hybrid controls now and only difference is , instead of using X to win faceoffs , you use right analog stick down.

Have to agree with the community on this one. The reason why NHL 94 controls have always been an option is simple… Many people like to use them. And while Hybrid controls are quite similar, they are NOT the same. They absolutely are NOT 99% the same. Some people don’t have the time to put into a game that others do. I don’t want to spend 2-3 weeks trying to get used to a new set of controls when I only have an hour tops a day to play. Removing the controls was completely unnecessary. But, now that EA has, there is no need to buy the game. I’m content playing NHL ‘23 because I only play a custom Single Season on the ELH. Thank goodness, I can buy some of the other newer games coming out this year, there’s no need to waste my money on the NHL franchise anymore.

The option of having the 94 controls was great. it made no sense to get rid of them. None whatsoever.

Just reinstate the 94 controls. You will lose many customers if you don't. No idea why EA would do something this stupid.
