Today's trolls

I personally block and mute all trolls and players I know that suck.  Then when I see them in a DR I know to inform the others and to back out. 

I agree. I'll pass on the request. I'd love to see that happen.

It would be amazing if NHL 26 included the option to search for club games only as a drop-in player. 

It's easy to see when someone has an offensive name. Of course, there are times when it's easy to see someone is griefing other players. However, we don't really have a good system in place for that. We'd need a team available to review the very high number of videos we'd receive. Not to mention the large amount of time dedicated to reviewing video of players that shouldn't be actioned. I'm sure we'd get a lot of reports that someone is cheating or griefing just because they took a loss. So, it's a use of resources that could otherwise be put back into the game, but instead would be used to make drop-ins more friendly. Would that be worth sacrificing work on the game that the community would rather have?

The play is normally far better than a full team of randoms. I truly wish we had a better system for actioning trolling. We need to do better here. Drop-ins are an introduction to this mode for many and I'm sure some have been scared off because of those types of players. Regardless, no matter how many anti-griefing features we add or if we started taking reports for this, people will always find a way to troll. It's most likely a never ending battle.

I mean really tho, You can get banned for a silly name but can't be banned for literal Trolling people in games? What the heck is the EA team even thinking? That makes 0 sense on any level. Thank you for at least trying to get something done, I know you are working to get this game to a more competitive state which we all appreciate :) I personally have never had either of them in my games but I know of them and would back out instantly if I seen them just sad that they can't be banned for those type of things hopefully it changes in the future.

Normally, we just action offensive names. I'd love to see people actioned for trolling. Obviously, the in-game countermeasures have room for improvement. 

Remind me why they never get banned for these type of actions? That would clearly be a 100% reason to ban someone from playing the game but yet they don't? Speaks volumes about the people that EA wants playing this game and so called integrity and blah blah that they talk about all the time, but we all know that companies don't actually care about the stuff they preach :)

I had to remove the IDs since that breaks our rule on "naming and shaming". The best thing to do is get video and send it to me in a private message. Unfortunately, we don't normally ban people for this behavior, but I can send over any videos to see if anything can be done. Playing with griefers like this is incredibly frustrating.

He must have ties and/or discriminating pictures of someone at EA.  It’s inconceivable how EA has not permanently banned this account.
