EA will get the wake-up call necessary to develop a game that is actually ok to play.
The game is okay to play in its current state.
That said, the current marketing of NHL 25 does not seem to be exciting the fanbase. Of course, that's kind of always been the case but this year's lack of information is reminiscent of NHL 15, which was a sore spot for the franchise.
EA Sports seems even quieter than normal this time around, which I can't take as anything but troubling. Confident teams talk about their games.
I've vowed never to pre-order a Battlefield game again after 2042 (go figure... another EA mess) but even EA DICE seems to be confident in their pipeline this time as they've talked about doing community-wide playtests starting during the beginning of 2025 (which is at least many months before the game's release date).
