Just because a card is built over time isn't gonna ensure it will be the best over time. New cards need to be enticing. What makes the cards that upgrade over time nice is that you can well upgrade their overall in time. I'm working on the McDavid X-Factor still and I am sure a better card of his will emerge. I made the Lane Huston and Celebrini cards that upgrade to 96. 99 if they won. Just because a better new version of a player comes out doesn't mean your previous card didn't and doesn't have value along the way.

The xfactors are supposed to match overall that release over time. The thing is EA released special versions of those cards then based new cards off the special build and left the xfactor to be the worst version. It's bad business and shady towards the consumer.
