at&t issue with nhl

I had at&t fiber last game aka nhl 24 and it was MISERABLE to play because took 5 years to load into WOC. Did nhl/at&t fix that? some people i’ve spoke to said it’s fine now, some people i’ve seen said it’s still going on? currently i have xfinity and was considering a switch but want to know if it’s something still being worked on or what not
