Game chat issues

Question

Xbox series x. In world of chel I can’t hear anyone in game chat and my microphone isn’t being detected in the game channels. In the party channel it says that I have myself muted and I can’t toggle it off. When I load into online versus a message appears at the top saying I am “restricted from communication features”. My microphone works fine and my Xbox account settings are correct.

Hi there. That message sounds like there's an issue with your privacy/multiplayer settings or possibly you were actioned for violating the Terms of Service either by us or Microsoft. If your settings are correct, you may want to contact an advisor by following the instructions here. You also could contact Microsoft support to see if a communications ban is on your account.
