Game configuration failure on EASHL

What is going on? It’s happening to me and all my friends, I’d say 8 of the last 10 games we’ve played, one of us have lagged out at the start of the game with “Game Configuration Failure” and then the game doesn’t even count? What is happening? How is this not fixed?

Are you on PlayStation? If so, PSN is having some issues at the moment. PSN Status

it looks like there's an outage with the PSN currently. that is most likely what is causing this. You can keep an eye on their status here.
