Hi there. Have you tried just resetting them all to default?

Try going to Settings > Gameplay Sliders to see if there's a reset button there. If not, let me know which console you're on and I'll give you some instructions for manually deleting it. However, that also deletes your offline game saves so if this is happening in Franchise Mode or Be A Pro, it's very possible those saves will be lost. They normally download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that.

I am using PS5. There are no default game play resets. I am playing season mode. When i play a normal game it seems to be okay. In season games now it is very hard to get control of the puck. It keeps tapping it instead of getting control. WHat could be happening?

Have you checked to make sure the controller's firmware is up to date? Also, it would be good to try a different controller. If neither of those help, let me know which controller layout you're using. Skill stick, Total Control or Hybrid.

Some of the sliders seem like they would be helpful if you cramked them up when in reality if you read the description thoroughly, it says at the end (usually in parenthesis) what affect it will have at maximum and/or minimum. I seriously thought i was making the game easier, and I was doing the opposite. For example there is one for dekes and the way it's labeled, most people would assume you turn it up and you have better dekes and puck control but the higher the value the more likely it is you will lose the puck while attempting a deke.
To hold on to the puck better work on your forehand and backhand glides, it is much more difficult to hit someone if you are holding the puck away from them while coasting, then toe drag to juke over quickly, and your on a breakaway, lol.bCrank up your balance stat, that is what keeps you from stumbling or getting knocked off the puck. Also The zone ability unstoppable force is very helpful.

Hi guys, again not sure what i did but it's working. It wasn't a controller thing, i tried that. I was able to reset everything from the settings on the season screen. I adjusted things and it seems to be back to normal. I appreciate the help!
