Can you try a different controller? I'm not seeing other reports of this so it doesn't seem like a widespread issue.

I too am also having this problem except I am also on hybrid controlls and when I get the puck my guy wont skate he can only spin around pass or shoot and im on ps5 as well ive updated my controller checked for up date of game witch mine does automatically anyways and there is no fix
