Login Issues

I have a pretty old EA Sports account that is connected to my PlayStation account. When I try to play a game that requires a login to the EA servers it says that I haven't logged in for a long time and it is going to send a code or something to the email address. I never get anything received at the email address it specifics, therefore I can't login, can't connect to the server, can't play the games. 

I've added the only EA email I can find online to the address book, I've checked SPAM, etc. The email doesn't come through. I've also tried just resetting the password online, and again it says it sends a code, but I don't receive it. 

So I'm a bit stuck as it seems there is no way to get the email and no way to remove the old EA account from my PS ID and start a new one. 

Any thoughts or suggestions or ways to resolve this?
