NHL25 on PS5 - EA Play Issue

Hello,

I am located in the UK, and I was playing NHL25 on my PS5 this morning (6AM) and it worked fine. I have downloaded it from EA Play. I closed the game and turned my PS5 off.

Now (11:00AM) the game will not load, and I no longer have the option to launch the game. Where it used to have a "Play Game" button, that button now says "View Product", and the game has a lock icon next to the EA logo.

I have a current EA Play subscription, and other games I have downloaded from EA Play work as expected. On the EA Play game catalogue page NHL25 is listed as "Unavailable".

I had just started the first round of the playoffs on my Be a Pro save, and I would like to finish it.

Can anyone help? What has happened?

Hey, everyone. We believe this issue should now be resolved. For those of you that I did not help yet, can you try playing again and let me know if it's working or not? Thanks!

Hello,
I am having this issue as well i renewed lisences but it didn't help, i also tried to add NHL 25 to my library, as it was advised in some solutions, but there is no such button on PS5 NHL25.
Is there any solution that works?

Hi,

I am also having this issue. I've been playing this game near daily for months and all of a sudden it's not available? I can't even purchase and download it.
Suddenly makes the EA Game pass completely not worth it if they can just pull games out of it?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I have an active EA Play membership on PS5. Over the weekend I was able to play NHL 25, but today it says the game is not available and that I need to purchase it.
At first, I realized the issue was that I had forgotten to renew my membership, so I thought that was the problem. However, even after renewing it, the game still does not work. NHL 26 is available though.
