Reconnection for teen online play

Re-purchased the Playstation Plus for online play. My son has an EA ID however the email address used is unknown & no cell phone at that time in 2023. I can access online play with no concerns but his continues to show connection issues when sending a request to me to join & no access to obtain his EA ID as it shows the same series of screens.

He was playing online just 5 weeks ago so I really don't know what is the issue regarding the ability to access online play again with his friends.
