Reverse Hitting needs Balance.

Seems like height/weight/stats have nothing to do with how someone can just bull doze you at the blue line carrying the puck with smaller low balance statted players like Nylander, Kucherov or even Gretzky just plowing through/over 6’4” defenders. I should have to just let them run by everyone. That’s not how defense works. Especially when you have them dead to rights against the boards with no where to go. Even if I poke check them… they just A button plow my guy backwards and the puck keeps moving forward.

it’s not balanced at all. And sized/stats should dictate the affect of it in some fashion.

Weight is the biggest contributor to reverse hitting. Smaller players are also less likely to be successful with them. Higher strength and hitting are also going to help. Also, keep in mind that in HUT players have inflated attributes.

You're always welcome to gather some clips of reverse hits you feel shouldn't be working. I'll send them over to the team. Thanks!
