WOC game configuration failed

I'm playing '25 on an Xbox Series X.  I go to world of chel, live events, pick any event (the error happens every time regardless of which event I pick), drop in, ready up, then I get the error message "game configuration failed, please try again.

This has been happening for almost 2 months.  In that time I've not been able to play WOC at all, this error happens every time.
