About the Season Pass in WoC
So, EA created a new Season Pass that’s different from the Battle Pass in previous versions of the game. They’ve added Weekly and Season Objectives.
I’ve already completed both my Weekly and Season Objectives (mostly because the “Play 10 Live Event games” objective isn’t registering — it’s stuck at 0/10). And right now, I’m only at 16 out of 45 tiers.
Here’s the problem: to complete one tier of the Season Pass, you need 10,000 XP. Completing objectives gives you between 5,000 and 20,000 XP depending on the challenge. But if you play a full game, you only earn between 150 and 500 XP.
So now, with no Weekly Objectives left, let’s say I get 500 XP per game (and that’s being generous). It would take me around 20 games of 6s to complete just one tier.
If each game takes about 20 minutes, that means it would take me 6 to 7 hours to complete a single tier.
My point is , the XP reward balance between the new Objective system and the XP you get for simply completing games makes no sense.
Why am I complaining? Because there are X-Factors in the Season Pass that are locked behind certain tiers, and now I have to wait for the next Weekly Objectives to drop in order to make real progress. Playing games alone doesn’t give nearly enough XP to advance at a reasonable pace.
