I mean that same thing existed back in the day with boosts too but you could earn all of them free. I'm not spending a dime to unlock things and if people want to feel like spending is gonna make them better they can enjoy the 1 season til everyone catches up.
Don't think there will be any "Catch up" since you will be able to purchase the next elite version of x-factors the following season. Like .. if Elite One Tis as busted as One T was in NHL 25 .. Good luck playing while trying to earn it if people you are playing against buy it
