I’m not trying to argue for the sake of it, but if it’s true that you can only use photos provided at the beginning of the season, then how is it possible that for eg. Nečas still has his old Carolina photo, even though that trade happened last season before the deadline?
If images are locked to the start-of-season package, that specific situation shouldn’t even be possible. It’s exactly things like this that make the explanation hard to believe for many of us.

I remember that you updated headshot pictures mid season Jan/Feb during a roster update in previous game. Guess was about rookie year of McAvoy but not sure if it was this year. But 100% you did. So for me your argument to wait till next years doesnt hold. Sorry for that.
Same as Brad Marchand with the Bruins jersey. Trade was also last year at the trade deadline.
