BAP Health Form score

Is anyone aware of a way to minimize how much Health Form score is lost per game? Like if I take fewer hits, use hustle less, etc.

26 games in and I'm averaging over 2 points per game as a defenseman and am plus 34 but my health form score takes such a beating that I end up playing the last two games before I get more points weary then completely fatigued. 

Am I doing something wrong or is health just that broken?

    I bumped up my fatigue recovery in the sliders. Other than that, I try to use my speed burst very sparingly and glide whenever possible, especially on the backcheck. I still manage to cover the point as expected.

     Also, as long as I’m in the “peak” range and get my 5% boosts I’m good. I don’t bother wasting a precious energy point on health as long as I’m on that peak range. The only rough stretches are when there are four games in between recharging and even then I usually have a point or two left over.
