BAP storyline

I’ve made multiple archetypes on offense and defense and honestly all storylines are the same. Disappointing to say the least, I feel storylines should be dynamic based of position/archetype (mainly archetype) I feel coach’s / Gm’s should recognize what build we have and how we can be useful/implemented into the team and move into the line as needed. After rookie year the storyline is pretty stagnant and I would say atleast in previous years challenges forced you to play multiple season and do certain objectives. I don’t really even want to begin about the stamina/energy glitch that hasn’t been addressed that leads to X factors being in equipped due to not meeting requirements. Please for the love of god let us have more control over the archetype like in chel instead of the same names , let us max out certain attributes to achieve elite level X factors and make the game dynamic… you guys make every other career game more dynamic than nhl and its absolute **bleep** to the nhl community but hey not my game just a guy who bought it and hoped for the best .

    Hey there. Appreciate the input. BaP had a lot of changes with 26. Obviously, not all of them were as well received as we'd hoped. I've sent a lot of feedback over to the team so hopefully, we'll see changes in the future that fall more in line with what you all are wanting out of a career mode. Thanks!

    And I know it’s not your fault whatsoever but please let us have more control of the Player attribute/xfactor wheel on set up like chel , obviously lock the ones that are archetype locked but show us the max tier of X factors prior to starting up the career.

  • I don't think we will EVER see a different story based on team/ player build. That being said, I think a better/ more interesting story would be nice.. unfortunately we need to keep our asks EXTREMELY basic, for 5 or 6 years we had the EXACT same intro to BAP? We wont get a diff story based on anything let alone a diff story from year to year. Having a story in which we are some no name prospect from some small village and gets a PTO or something would be cool. Also one that ties into WoC so we can actually build our pro similar to the FAR advanced NBA 2K. I just don't have any faith this team could implement anything of this magnitude. EVERYTHING they've done has been not asked for, poorly received, poorly implemented, etc or a combination of these things. I'm not sure if they just don't care or if they just just don't have the experience/ talent. It's a bad situation.

    They should just replace media scrums and make them Coach's scrums and teammate scrums instead, what the hell does the media have to do with what the Coach and your teammates think of your play on the ice?  The challenges and form score shouldn't all be based off of scoring either, what about good defense?. I like my idea about being able to pick your line 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line and be able to stay on those lines throughout your career, if you want to be a scoring superstar you get 1st line if you want to score goals every once in a while you get 2nd and 3rd line you want to be a defensive wizard and shut down the other team's, top stars you get the 4th line.

    If only we can get something close to this , like there should be challenges For the Role I actually want , if I’m a playmaker that should be the focus for the season to have x amount of assist or go for a certain trophy , if I’m defensive have a good +/- or hits , for goalies , wins or save % or a shutout . The game just needs to be more dynamic , they have the capability.its EA

    I wouldn’t even care if they steal ideas at this point , but producing the same game over and over is absurd , graphics are good , mechanics could be tweaked a little , but I think the main thing is a dynamic story mode that’s interactive throughout the course of the career not just rookie season , and personally I’d rather Be a pro a current/Hall of fame player at this point than this

    And hopefully the team knows that the future needs to be NHL 27. Be A Pro revamp for NHL 26 has been disaster. We can't have same story for next 5 or 6 years what we had with the pricey pond hockey garbage.

    we b&m about the coach and teammate conversations and then when they change it we still aren’t satisfied… /s

    no, but seriously even though it was poorly implemented it’s still not even scratching the surface.

     

    bring back Live The Life, let us change stick flex, skate blade radius, stick curve. I also agree with the points about matching the goals to player archetype better. Make it so that each archetype feels like a different path. A defenceman should NOT always have the same scoring responsibilities, even the most offensive ones. And for the love of god, improve the commentary. The commentators barely discuss anything past the rookie year. No continuity, no discussions of the dynamic player storyline that are even that profound. Cookie cutter BS.

    I’m an all star centre who started undrafted playing Edmonton in the Cup Finals for my first shot raising Lord Stanley ? Why is that not even being mentioned during the games. The lines are so few and they get so so stale. There really should be more than one commentary team like for Madden. If anything at least one RDS style broadcast completely in french.

    he wasn't talking about the coach/player or teammate/player conversations, he was meaning that the media/player conversations should not have an effect on if my coach or teammate rep goes up (or down). the media conversations should be for how the media perceives and presents you. like for a basic example: the media asks are you a team player or a puck hog and you say team player but all you do is shoot (which you have to by the way) or rarely passes the puck so your media rep (which they have in NFL 26) goes down NOT management or teammate rep. then in the news feed, they bad mouth you for not doing what you said. I believe that's what he meant
