Honestly, having online has ruined video games because that's all they care about now. Why improve offline modes when you don't make any money through those modes. Unfortunately its all about micro transactions now, that's why we don't get those classic well polished nhl games anymore. Now the standard is to put out a half finished game and "improve" it through patches.
