can someone from EA please explain to me why I went DOWN 27 form score points when I got a B+ (78% overall) coaches score? I had no goals, no assists, but was 2+ in +/- with 11 hits. out of the 4 goals we scored, 2 was because I landed big hits and we picked up the puck. my teamplay was 98% which is what an enforcer is based on. my offense was only 64% but I was over the target. the form score is still not fair to defensive players. you MUST base the form score on the overall coaches score and game by game, not average. but I want someone from EA to explain why I dropped that many points.

It's because it's still not tied to coach feedback what so ever. They claimed they added giveaways, takeaways, blocked shots, +/-, and maybe a couple more stats to the factors of what determines form score. I am not sure why they couldn't just make the coach feedback grade % number your form score number.

yea I know. I just want to see if they respond to me. I just played another game and did an experiment. I scored 1 goal, had 1 assist, and was +5 with only 4 hits (took everything I had not to do that by the way). my offense score was 97% (same as teamplay last game), defense was 69% (less than the last game), and teamplay was only 82% (4% less than target). both games my coaches overall was B+, 78% on the first game and 82% the second game. now how in the freaking world can I have the same letter value but different percentages? I'll tell you, it's all geared to offense and scoring goals. I really do hate to complain but if they don't change that crap, I don't care how much they "change" this mode I won't buy another one.

edit: I just looked up Matt Rempe stats (public record by the way) and here are his first 8 games of the 2024 season: form score to maintain (85)
game 1) 0 points, 0 in +/- (form score 60 or less), game 2) 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist), +2 (form score back up to around 85 we'll say), game 3) 0 points, -1 (form score 55 or less), game 4) 1 point (1 assist) +2 (form score back up to say 80 give or take), game 5) 0s across the board (form score more than likely 40s), game 6) again 0s across the board (form score 20s probably), game 7) 0s again (form score in the negative probably), game 8) 0 points, -1 (form score?, well he got sent to minors).
oh and he only had 6 shots on goal those 8 games and HE'S A FORWARD
EA do you see what I'm talking about? it's not all about scoring points but playing a REALISTIC hockey game.

You didn't actually drop 27 points. That's just the delta. Which is the difference between the last game score and your current chapter average.
Your last game was 63. The chapter average is 90. The Delta between those is 27.

I don't understand how I got a 63 game score is my biggest frustration because granted the biggest issue is WHY I dropped at all. I had the same overall score for both games. I even had less % in defense and teamplay in the second game, so why did I drop in the first game with high teamplay and gained with the same % in offense the second game with the same overall score is what I want to know. it just shows me that there is still more emphasis on scoring points than playing an all around above average game. that's what everyone is saying (I believe). if there are kids that want to score tons of goals then they can adjust sliders and put it on rookie to do that. if guys like me who like defense and want a challenge and even lose games (but our player does well), we are getting severely penalized for it. and excuse my ignorance but what exactly is DELTA and what does it do please.
