Be a Pro Rosters

But...you are not reading or understanding the issue. 

When starting a BAP career with doing the Memorial Cup so does the save start before the end of the 24/25 season. The database therefor seem to skip the fact that Marner was not given a new contract but was instead traded to Vegas and given a contract. Now that I started a new save just yesterday so did he still stay in the Leafs team when pre season came around. So something is wrong there or is that how it is supposed to be? And I dont have any other roster downloaded except the one you mentioned, so I cant use any other. So there has to be something with how BAP handles the roster or just that player specifically. So it would be nice if you looked into this if this is a bug or explain why he is not moved to the Golden Knights. And just to be precise, this is ONLY in Be A Pro, not in playing a quick game or franchise mode from what I can tell. 

He was updated for the September 3rd roster along with other moves.

And still this issue in BAP and you wont explain why Marner ends up in Maple Leafs when playing BAP. Why not explain that instead of saying "use the updated roster". 

There is something wrong with the game. I've started 3 separate be a pro campaigns now. Ive made sure to use updated rosters. Each time I go through the chl option I get marner on the leafs. If I choose the direct to nhl option the rosters are fine. It's only when you take the chl route. I have not taken the Europe route. But there is 100% something wrong and it us not the users fault. The only reason I play this game is for chel and bap. Without bap I don't even want to play this crap. I'm going back to playing nhl25. This is bull**bleep**.

And also, "tend to release every couple of weeks" well last time I checked so did Marner get traded and then signed to the Golden Knights on 30th of June. That's roughly 74 days between that happened and the official release date of the game. So...not an excuse.

The roster from 9/3 fixed the Marner issue.

Question is, why cant EA or EA_Aljo​ give an answer like this? That actually responds to the seen issue? An explanation to what is happening instead of the basic "make sure you update your roster".

I am pretty certain this is as designed and will not change with updated rosters (it never changed in NHL25 either).  I did discover something interesting.  I had created a bunch of players in a customer roster but had not assigned them to a team (thus they are listed under free agents).  I then sometime later created a BAP player.  Game 8 or 9 of regular season, I come across my custom goalie playing for Chicago (I created him Franchise High too lol).  What I figured out is that the rosters are set at the draft and the teams go through computer generated free agent signings on Jul 1st.  Anyone in the free agent pool (including player created characters) are signed by teams.
