NHL 26 is the only game that doesn't have the option for me to cloud game even though I have the correct gamepass subscription. Just spent over an hour with Xbox support trying every option to fix the issue but no luck. Anybody else experiencing this? My friend is playing it on his PC via cloud gaming just fine. And yes, I have gamepass ultimate.
EA_Aljo yeah, I've tried septicon suggestion. No VPN either.
Other things I've tried:
Confirmed internet connection, signing in and out, repairing and resetting the Xbox app, no vpn, toggling gamepass autopay off/on, deleting the Xbox app and gaming services then redownloading them, executed various commands in Powershell and Command Prompt per Xbox support instructions, and all of that in combination with restarting my pc after trying a lot of the stuff I just mentioned.
Could this just be an issue with the rollout of the game on gamepass? I have yet to see anybody else online having this issue though.
I signed in on my friends Xbox and played it, but when I get back to the Xbox app on my pc it doesn't show up on recently played.
I spent over an hour chatting with Xbox support and ran A LOT of troubleshooting solutions but none of them have worked.
I checked it out and I had the same issue. In my Xbox App, the green button for playing it in game cloud was missing. See first screenshot. It looked like in the pic you posted above. But I was still able to play it when I used the menu on the left side in the app. See second screenshot. Did you try to start it from there already?
