AWS had a major outage today. It's very likely that's the problem since I'm almost certain EA uses AWS to host their servers.
Your thought is valid. But like I stated in my article. The 25 game had no problem being online. It was the 26 version that had problems. But I will note. Since the game was an online purchase and in EAs cloud. Its possible your premise is correct. Thanks for the feedback.
