Dumping or flipping puck question

In past versions, a player could flip or dump the puck out of the defensive zone a good distance down the ice. Last year that was nerfed and is still nerfed in this year's version. Flipping the puck out of your zone, especially on a penalty kill is a viable defensive tool used in actual hockey. My question is, why was this tool nerfed to the point of uselessness? The scales are already weighted so heavily to the offensive side of the ledger. Being able to flip the puck out of your zone on a penalty kill was one of the few tools a defense had that made good hockey sense. 

If possible, please bring this back into the game. 

Having been a loyal customer since 2009, I am well aware of how the gameplay can seem slanted so heavily against you on many occasions. I also know that the game often swings things in your favor as well. I just miss being able to use a defensive tool that worked fairly well on penalty kills in past versions.

I also would not mind if the game brought back the feature that caused excessive figure skaters to lose their edge and fall from time to time- but am aware that will never be back in the game. 

To the developers, I thank you for your time and appreciate that you do try to create something for us all to enjoy- it can be a thankless task at times I would imagine.

    I honestly wouldn't mind it if they did away with pressure+, the pressure clears once the puck is out of your zone, and the NORMAL clears came back so you could clear it over the heads of the forecheckers, like you know, the real NHL.

    Here's another terrible design. Even if you get the pressure off you the pressure gauge doesn't reset FULLY until you do an action like putting a shot on goal yourself or a hit. Usually, you're too tired to do any of that, so even if you clear the zone the puck comes right back in with pressure built up even after a clear.

    They nerfed the puck flip so the pressure would work as intended and to favor the offense more

    I’m really beginning to loathe the pressure system.  Especially when pressure activates against you, you skate out of the zone and the moment you try to hustle you just drop stamina because you’re “pressured” even though you’re on a breakaway, or just on offence in general. It’s so backwards. The stamina drain should stop the moment you leave the defensive zone. It’s so stupid. 

    also I must add the amount of x factors that give you a boost in speed (no contest, send it, spark plug, wheels) just really take me out of it. I feel like this game is going in the wrong direction in many ways , yet the core gameplay is actually a good foundation. It’s like building a solid home then adding ugly decorations that nobody wants to live in.
