HDR is way too dark
federo5 wrote:HDR is way too dark to the point you cannot see your new gimmicks in the top corner, like players exiting the penalty box. This is an issue every year and nothing ever changes.
Me and everyone I play with can see this just fine. I think you may need to adjust or recalibrate your HDR settings on your TV.

Ai responds to human inputs and positioning. It's very possible you've carried over the same tendencies year after year in regards to how you control your players. It may be time for a different approach. Every year, the game introduces new little nuances that can have far reaching effects.

Tractor beam hitting has returned and a lot of people who rely on that to aim their hits are happy. I much prefer the more manual approach that we saw last year. I like players having more responsibility over everything rather than being assisted by the game, but that's just me.

In 2025, there's no excuse for buying something and not knowing exactly what you're getting. There's more than enough information out there to know what NHL 25 has to offer and buying it - keeping it past the date when you can return it - and still complaining it's not enough is on the consumer.
federo5 wrote:So what did you actually improve on for this year’s game?. You revised the gimmicky attributes and threw in a few new goalie animations. Oh boy! Kept the same trashy gameplay,
RIP EA sports. It’s no longer in the game
If you've played the game and don't notice any changes, that's too bad. Lots of fun to be had.
