This is sad. Passes still go through goalies 5 holes and D sticks, skates. Can they actually make a realistic hockey game. All this game is now is one of 3 plays...

It is in the sense that the offense gets more and more tools to use, and goalies don't get anything but polished turds.
Onetimers are really bad and broken atm and those need to be fixed asap. Im not sure like what ea has done to it compared to NHL25 but for some reason onetimers are kinda weak and slows atm. Have they made goalies too good or have they reduced that timing window for onetimers or what is going on? I have played as a dman competitive many years and i have always liked to go onetimers but now its nearly impossible to score with those. And im speaking only WOC now, i know like in NHL25 onetimers were too powerfull in hut and versus because AI goalies were bad.
I agree with that, im feeling the same if we are comparing offence and defence too. There is still that L2/LT glitch in game and it feels like every puck is bouncing to forwards no matter what you are doing as a dman, pokechecks are not working, sticklifts are powerless and interceptions are still in bad level. At least hitting is working finally but that would be nice to be able to use your stick too and you should be rewarded with good positioning for interceptions but atm it feels every force pass are just coming through. I tries defensive dman build with 99 defensive awareness and i used that boost which should help with interceptions but result was still same.
All teams do is make builds with super speed, super hits, and super agility.. it’s awful and rewards bad players who make silly YouTube videos
