Anyone else find this game borderline unplayable online because of how terrible the goaltending is? It’s absolutely atrocious and takes away from the game so much. There’s so many things wrong with this franchise but holy the goaltender rating system may as well not even exist. 89ovr goalies letting in backhand floaters from top of circles with no screen, then 82ovr goalies making back to back to back saves on X factor players 20 seconds later??
The best is when they come off the post to give up the shortside when everything else is covered.
I agree, the short side goals are almost a sure thing. The goalies either stand on their heads or they're complete junk and let everything in.
Agreed, goaltending is in a bad place. I think the foundation EA put in place factoring in being set or moving, if screened , shot speed/distance is good. But too many flaws stick out. Save percentage is too low for unscreened floaters from distance. They leave short side way too open and don't hug the post well. They are too exploitable on breakaways. I'd love to see them get better in general, but also start to have higher save percentage when the same move is used over and over (ie a guy has gone back hand twice on a breakaway...look for it the third time). Making goalies better will actually help mitigate the "everyone needs wheels" problem as being the small speedy guy won't be rewarded as much.
That combined with when you icon pass it passes the puck to nobody and just ice’s the puck or passes it to the other team no where near your player makes this game absolute garbage. Convinced nobody who works at ea actually plays the game
And the non stop L2 cheese. I swear every single person you play skates backwards up the ice all game

Here is a suggestion. Play your game and experience what we do. Or watch the endless you tube videos showing whats wrong with this game. Or read the endless microsoft reviews where your game has a record setting low. Enough with this asking for video nonsense.
We all realize that EA sports has resorted to false promises every year with “improved gameplay”, “improved ai” , “improved goalie animations”.
The game clearly is not suitable on your current first person shooter engine and your solely focused on micro transactions, not gameplay improvements

I play our game. It's the reason I'm here to begin with. However, I don't use icon passing. I'm asking for a video so it can be reviewed for any issues.

I'm not accusing anyone of making anything up. I'm trying to find out if there's an issue with icon passing. Video greatly helps.
