L2 glitch

Why does EA refuse to patch the L2 glitch? The game would be better off without it but EA doesn’t even recognize it. You don’t see people irl doing that so why do it in a game? Bring back NHL 14 and...

I think most of the community knows this isn't simple or easy to fix, but the truth of the matter is that this exploit didn't pop up yesterday. It's been in multiple games already. Several years. That's the real frustration here.

Yeah, it may not be a "simple fix" but that IS what the devs are hired to handle. If they can't then why are they the one's entrusted to continue to create/ fix things?

I was happy they *mostly* fixed the ragging by making them be effected by the pressure system.

The L2 can be *fixed* in a similar way until they can offer a real fix in "X" years. fredo911 offered a solution.. I would just not allow offensive players to use it... OR as you get closer to the net the speed penalty is multiplied by more and more, but they would have to allow for those players to be hit in the same way that someone not using L2/ puck protect are hit. Bouncing off of someone you have perfectly lined up because they're using L2 is just really silly looking. It's not the fix we want/need but it improves the game immediately until (if) they can figure out how to fix it in the future.
