Nhl 26 CPU doesn't take any penalties

Same for me. Neither my team or the cpu get any penalties.

EA needs to fix this.

at least in NHL 25 you could get cpu penalties when the sliders were set to 100.

3 games into the season with 2 PP’s and 1 penalty.

same here, had 1 pp in 3 games. Even cranked all the sliders up to 100. 

found a workaround/ it seems to help to make the cpu ”aggression” slider higher. but less fun gameplay…. 

All they do is just hit alots

Is there an update being worked on so we can have penalties in a hockey game?

If we play longer periods will penalties come back????

I'm playing on 11 minutes now with MAX penalty setting/sliders and the most I've gotten was  3 penalties for each team (with me being extra aggressive). In general on 11 min periods  usually 1-2 each team.

 This is the biggest issue right now about the game. Lack of stick fouls is the cause. Most people play under 10 mins a period, so it will create the severe lack of penalties per game.

The bad thing is, most penalties are the hitting kind (boarding, cross check, elbow). So there is no risk reward for using the pokecheck and stick lift. You can use it with no fear. The stick doesn't make proper contact with players feet/head, so even though both user/cpu use stick check/lift, very very rare you get trip calls and I haven't had ANY high stick/slash penalties.

This is also being discussed in another sim sports forum so hopefully EA come out with a release day patch to address it. Without penalties, the quality of the game will suffer bigtime.

I share withEA_Aljo​ some videos about the lack of stick penalties. All of these 4 clips have given me penalties in years past, at least 3 out of 4. In NHL 26, no penalty....and not even any contact as well. I hope this helps the dev team rectify the issue. Thanks

Obviously there is a bug. Those are all penalties. 

Exactly the same for me used the same sliders  as last years,  not seen a trip a hook or a slash only the odd x check,  come on ea  this has been a problem for years on and off, last year was better,  this year poor,  patch it please.
