NHL 26 EASHL MM BROKEN WITH HUMAN GOALIE

Starting this to hopefully get eyes on the matchmaking with a human goaltender on your team. Been trying for 3 straight days and trying to play as a goaltender with my team is not possible. The mm always errors out after about 5 mins and we have to restart. Have not played a game as goalie yet. Switching to a forward/d works in about 1 min or less and we can join games fine.

And NO - before you keyboard warriors say "its bc there are no goalies" that would be true if turning on Drop in players doesnt populate a goalie immediately. However playing 6v6 with randoms who troll is not fun. Allow me to play goalie without the mm breaking everytime we try to search.

I am a human goalie and it’s completely broken. An average of 1 game I actually get to play per every 1.5 hours of matchmaking. I usually get to play 2 games a night, usually against a real goalie in the other team too and they are great games usually close battles and I have fun. But match making for 3 hours just to play 2 games is freaking ridiculous. Players will hop out of a lobby with you in it if you are a goalie because they know it’ll be broken. They finally make the mechanics more smooth and less fidgety, but didn’t spend 3 minutes on matchmaking. Makes chel basically unplayable for human goalies which sucks :/

It sucks to know that this has been an issue before 26 it was the exact same issue in 25 yet EA couldn’t do anything about it and decided to release 26 broken as well??

EA needs to fix this asap!! I’m an elite g but in nhl 26 it’s been more than challenging. I’ll go into butterfly but he will drop and won’t move as I need him to and sometimes it works but sometimes he gets stuck or in speed burst he won’t go the side I need him to. It’s more than frustrating and this is where we lose games bc of a save I could’ve made easily I can’t. Also, the over animations bc of this puck tracking in the game is ridiculous and annoying. Especially going into butterfly the game decides to go in a direction it wants putting me out of the net or not in the direction I’m trying to go to. What the heck are you doing ea? You have made it almost impossible to play G.
Please fix this asap bc it costing games.
