It's all about making money, not good games. NHL has been garbage for like 10 years now. Skate. Is shaping up to be another money grab. They ask over ane over again what consumers want, we tell them, they completely ignor it.
It's just a matter of time before they close down more studios and say "We aren't sure what happened"
I presented a model that would not only make EA more money which drives them but would deliver to the fans what we truly want. Currently their model is based off making subtle yearly changes to fan request that keep their costs low and the loyalist coming back for more. check out my post which has game desired features and how this model works for both EA and us the consumer!
