hiperay , you are not alone in feeling this way. Its been noted a bunch of times and EA is definitely aware as Aljo has confirmed. He's also confirmed he sees it as an issue.
But really it does suck. The window is way too large. In EASHL our defenders are now being targeted 1,2,3 seconds after they've made a breakout play and are just skating up the ice (no longer even on screen) and they are getting demolished behind the play. Opens up fairly cheap breakaways too if the defense needs to do a long getup animation.
