The problems have been existent for years. So waiting for the devs to fix them, may be a longshot wish there bud. The icing calls are missed numerous times against the AI. And the offsides not as bad as the icing calls, do happen, mostly on stretch passes. The penalties are rarely called now. The hitting in the game is one sided, where the AI can bowl over your player, but your player unless in the right position to use that shoulder check, just love taps the AI player. One of the annoying glitches is. When your player has an open net to shoot into, it either goes wide or hits the post. I know vids have been asked to be sent in regarding the offsides. And they have. But to no avail. Nor a reasonable explanation back. Not the fault of the moderators. Its definitely the developers and coders, who own that responsibility. All the community is asking is. The game has faults. Understandable. Nothing is perfect. But at least attempt to acknowledge and correct what you can. Failure! Is an ignorance of recognition. And we all know what failure leads too.

Despite numerous requests, nobody has posted a video of offside not working. We're aware of the issue with icing calls. As far as we know, there are no problems with offside though.

No, they don't. This is a video game. There are no linesmen making judgement calls. Offside is determined purely by the position of the player's hitbox (think of it as the invisible collision boundary around their skates) relative to the blue line coordinate. So this is all being handled by math under the hood and not a linesman observing the play.
This is exactly why some stretch passes feel offside but don't get called. If you pulled up the replay and could actually see the hitboxes, you'd likely find that one skate , even barely, was still touching or overlapping the blue line at the moment the puck crossed. That tiny sliver of contact is enough to keep the play onside. It just happens so fast in real-time that it looks wrong.

It’s a video game but there are game breaking issues that never used to become a problem…. Now this game is an exploit fest and getting worse. You used to be able to defend against this stuff but certain X factors prevent that. And saying it doesn’t happen? Literally did on a livestream on Twitch the other day…. It’s a known issue around the community. I had to look at the replay of when this happened. The skate was well over the line and the right leg was behind not touching the blue-line.
Stop defending this garbage! I get you want become an EA Employee but this isn’t it plus you use the same exploits and just want them not to fix anything so you can continue it. Kidshowtime isn’t even your real gamertag dude! You’re literally friends with community manager…. Don’t make me publish video of you Lting and exploiting in NHL 22… I will! I don’t care at this point. EA can ban me off here I simply don’t care anymore…. If they can’t fix **bleep** and don’t care about their consumers then **bleep** them all.
