Penalties still not fixed
It is kinda unacceptable that a hockey sim, which has a base code that is anything but new, has been out nearly 2 months and the dev team can still not figure out something that its predecessors have...

I have now played 50 games since the update and I must say that the penalties are not any better than before, I have given the opponent maybe 2-3 more penalties than before. There was no real change in the penalties and this is specifically when playing, not simulating. During the simulation, penalties come on a fairly real scale, even fights. The AI stick use, for example, is absolutely millimeter accurate so that nothing comes out a penalty, then there are these blockings of the player without the puck which are completely off.
Penalties don't work.
Totally agree that they are not working in franchise and season modes for the opposition cpu, it's just do not understand why ea cannot grasp this and deal with it. They had to patch 25 which they did and it worked with a good spread of penalties. It find it just absolutely crazy what the situation is. Silence is damming, but certainly means I won't buy nhl27, if there is even one.
Charging and interference are other calls not being made either. Experience this in HUT playing a E-sports kid. Dude just exploited the game mostly and is friends with the team…
Like ive been saying ever since total control was introduced open ice charging penalties,elbowing penalties and roughing penalties have been turned off and I'll also say this again they either nerf or completely turn off something to make the other work ....nothing but a grift
