Possible scoring bug/defect

I've noticed recently that I can score almost every time using the NHL 94 wraparound/crease-cut technique. I cut directly across the crease and put it in the farside about 80% of the time (assuming there's no defencemen standing in my way). The CPU's defence just let's me walk through and do this most of the time by skating up and round them then either go around the net (wraparound) or loop back in towards the center and across the crease (crease-cut). I just play regular 5v5 standard games against the CPU. This seems to work on all difficulty levels. It doesn't work nearly as often when in the training mode (Free Skate).

Anybody else encounter this? I remember trying it in NHL 25 and didn't seem to work nearly as often, the goalie would usually save it.

  • Been a staple since it's namesake; it's a feature - You can just go straight centered to the goalie and roof it when close too, no need to over complicate things on the cpu
