Ranked questions/ideas

Im just bored and wanna spitball stuff, before anyone thinks im bashing anyone.

But was there ever a time where they [game devs] were thinking about implementing a madden style ranked system? Where you play a few games and then reach playoffs and then try to win playoffs without losing. Ive always seen that way as a great way to play online. 

Why is there no win bonus for diamond+? I know its probably because its asking me to play with more skill, but it ends up just become an endless cycle of win loss mediocrity and ranking down and back up to get no rewards, just becomes very bland and then switching to cup chase to grind objectives

I do like the ranked system right now by the way, but the problem i just run out of will to play because the reward is no longer there.

Will (or was there an idea like this) there ever be ranked with friends, where you can team up with like 2 buddies and use one guy's team and play ranked against other 3 person or 2 person teams. Which is another idea taken from madden but its only because its fun.

And lastly, i hope we get more spitlight challenges.
