Title says it all. Some of the new premade builds coming out are just too good. Jean Spectre Sniper anyone? What a joke. They are slowly making this a pay to win in WOC but are doing it very sneak...

Your definition omits the fact that the builds available to purchase are also available for free by completing the season pass requirements.
So if someone acquires this build by way of completing the season pass, are they paying to win?
P2W gives advantages to those that pay.
It's not P2W if the builds are available for free.
Its ridiculous to only have load outs available for purchase
Loadouts can be acquired by completing the season pass. You can make a purchase to avoid having to grind them out. That's not pay to win. That's 'pay to skip the grind'.

No. I believe to acquire season pass rewards, you need to compete within that season.
Purchasing a build for a season you couldn't grind is still not Pay to Win. It's still pay to skip the grind.
Anecdotally, I've run up against the McDavid build and it's absolutely not P2W. It has some speed that forces you to mind the gap more closely than other builds, but there's absolutely nothing superhuman or undefendable. You still need to be a skilled Chel player to utilize this build in any meaningful fashion during competitive play.
People will get into their heads and insist the build is OP and thus, defeat themselves, before the puck even drops.
Pay to Win is when progression and victory become gated behind spending, to the point where advancing or competing effectively is not realistically possible without continuous purchases.
So if they’re not able to play previous season passes then they do have to PAY to acquire certain builds. Someone can’t pay to skip a “grind” if that person is unable to “grind” it because it’s locked/expired (whatever).
Also by definition paying to bypass “skip” grinds, cooldowns, or unlock content is one aspect of P2W.
Furthermore, if someone is able to purchase something immediately after buying the game that it took someone else a few hours, days a week (whatever) to get for free that is still a defined aspect of P2W.
If something doesn’t fit your narrative/ideology you’ll manipulate any discussion regardless of FACTS to fit your narrative/ideology. It really is pointless trying to have any discussion with you. You cannot become convinced regardless because you only believe what you want to believe.
I’m literally just stating facts. Pay to win means those who don’t pay face an insurmountable barrier unless they pay.
You’re trying to claim that anyone in WOC who wants to win MUST buy these builds. They absolutely have to grind it out or dish out money and then they have to EXCLUSIVELY use these builds, otherwise they are guaranteed not to win.That is simply not true. 🤷♂️
