Time to act in a meaningful manner?

Pay to win, straight up lying in their marketing, censorship of meaningful discussions out of fear of reprisal, downright dishonest business practices if you ask me.

This game is a perfect micro example of what corporations are doing around the world. Lie, take advantage of people, price gouge, you name it.

Now I'm aware there are worse things going on in the world. "First world problems" right?

But if all it takes is a signature on a petition, with Better Business Bureau, or Ombudsman, would anyone here take the time to sign? If something like this was done it would include all of EA obviously. The shift to pay to play and deception in marketing while releasing unfinished products could be the focus. I would also put a focus on youth. Young people are most susceptible to these bad practices and this would possibly gain traction. How many kids are being manipulated into spending their money or their parent's money on this crap? Only to have what they bought be obsolete by the next month? This is predatory.

I bet if this company was investigated they would be found guilty of a lot of shadey practices.

Fortunately, I have a lot of free time at work for little projects. I would definitely consider spending some time to aid in this. I'm sure it won't change anything. At worst nothing happens, at best we rattle some cages, and maybe something changes.
