Trolls

Is there a way how not to play with some players. Because banning and reporting isn't a big game dealer. If the player aren't vocally doing nothing bad, but on the ice is doing penalties, intentional icing calls, entering zone early(on purpose), blocking(trying to stop, block) your own team mate. Will there will be tools for that ?
i don't need to ban them for 1-2days or suspend them or they're accounts for time. Just give me an option if i encounter one of these players ability to block them and don't have to play with them in my team ever again. Simple us that

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to avoid those players. The best thing you can do is play drop-in club games instead of the full random, outdoor rink games. Clubs typically play a lot better.

I rarely play full random games on my side atleast have 2-3players counting me in. And sometimes thouse 2-3free spots are trolss like thes guys. It isn't often (playing with trolls) bit it second time in a 3-4month period.  They were random drop ins in my club games

Hopefully, we'll have a better way to handle these players in the future. I know it's very frustrating to deal with others just out to ruin everyone's good time.

can't agree here more! it's interesting to see the dynamic between the mentality of my opponents (and teammates) in an outdoor rink game vs an indoor club game. They actually use team-play skills as opposed to one-man-army approach of the outdoor rinks.

And I firmly believe that we need a low-stakes option to play pickup games that don't hurt our club records, but allow us to try out new techniques or builds against competition. But i think the 'outdoor rink' will often make people lean towards 'hold my beer' approach which can be frustrating, especially for people who just can't find a club. would it ever be possible to get a Winter Classic outdoor game we can play in drop-in or even club?? i'm sure this has been asked thousands of times, apologies if it's been answered!

to those reading this who've played for years and just can't find quality people, i promise they're out there. join a discord server or lookup subreddits. find community/casual games and you'll hopefully find people you vibe with to club-up!!

  • It is something EA should truly concentrate on addressing. The online format is beginning to become less desirable to play.

  • Simple solution.  Block and mute them.  Then when you see any player with the block/mute symbol you’ll know to back out of the dressing room.  I do this to scrubs too and it has improved the level of my teammates and the overall quality of drop ins.

Hi there. I don't see this happening with the official Winter Classic. That's licensing we don't have the rights to. I'll pass on the feedback though for a fictional, WoC version of it. Thanks!
